“What is writing for me or shall I call myself a writer?”
Experience
During our live we are all trying to develop different things, and in everything you always have your first steps. First steps in walking by the ground, first steps in playing, first steps in studying and… first steps can be in writing too. For someone it may show up like oversimplified perspective, but not for me. Before, I have been trying myself in composing rhymes, it became the part of my life So now not only rhymes, but writing in prose is taking the part of my life.
It may happen to anyone
I can say truly, that before I could never have imagined it would be my cup of tea. I wonder till the moment how it could be – literature which repelled me at school now gives me a pleasure, turned into hobby I can’t live without, it’s like the air I’m breathing.
One can’t guess of what surprises are waiting for him/her during the lifetime, so… miracles happen!
The word
I want to underline this part of narration particularly by this title – “The word”. Now I know the meaning of the proverb: “Word hurts”. And now I know that it may inflate with hope, give a piece of advice, food for thought, moreover, it may drive you crazy or make you cry…
And here, in our compositions we are looking for the best, appropriate one. We are trying to find the golden middle. It is not easy, but as we know – there is no impossible! And we were playing about words, were roaming in the jungles of literature. We could see it like it is. We could see it inside out, we could see it and pass them through ourselves. We were painting the bright images in our minds. How it can turn out to be amazing!
The fun we had
I suppose that the fun we had will never happen again. If only someone could see how we were discussing our new “stories”. We all found the experiment useful in a number of ways. Of course, we were not only writing our own opinions on some ideas, but we were analyzing articles of famous writers, we were analyzing of each other stories and analysis - what a pleasure! We tried ourselves like real writers. It was so cool to feel confidence in this way. Knack of doing this is so important: making conclusions, comparisons, ability of thinking by images.
Tests and mistakes
Sometimes we felt as if we were losers, particularly we experienced this miserable feeling at the beginning. It seemed to be the hardest thing - to express the main idea of texts or sometimes to point the accents. We couldn’t find proper epithets, proper words all in all… But time and repetitions helped us in progressing.
In the end…
After carrying out this work, we can see that for being a real author, and for writing on a high stage we should be anxious for success, enriching our store of knowledge in different paths of literature – there are many interesting and exciting things to explore in our world!
And in the end, I am eager to wish all the lads to fly high and make a career of writer!

"What would you say about Tom Ripley,judding by his behaviour,in view of the fact that he has killed two people several days ago? Would you consider him mentally ill person or an absolutely sane, cruel and calculating?"
It's a difficult question for me. On the one hand, I can't say that he's mentally ill - he is likely to be a cruel, sane and cold-hearted person,he wanted to cash on in the range of suspicious affairs. But if we look at from the other side, his behavior is strange and it may push us on the thought that he did have some deviations in his psyche 'cause it's not inhere to a normal, healthy person to kill people one by one and at the same time remain calm, continue living as if nothing happened. The other person on his place would feel remorse and try to find a place to hide, to be in the shadow. But it's not his case: he commits crimes and it seems to me that it gives him a pleasure.

"What do you think about spending some time in such a place where is no civilization?
To forget about difficulties in your life and just to enjoy the nature?"
Growing older, I become to think about such a question. Of coarse, I would like to have a peaceful and quiet, without no city buzzing, place where I can stay with my family. I want to leave my problems somewhere in the town, just enjoy fresh air,pictureasque scenery and flow together with the nature in this blessful harmony. Sometimes, it's the only thing you need to feel happy and alive...
From the early times nature has always directed people on different useful thoughts, inspired on composing of stories and poems as it has something misterious, magnetic.
We are as like as charmed come back to it again and again to admire its greatness and immensity.

"If I won 1 000 000 dollars, what would I do?"
Actually, it's a very interesting question! =)
Well...If I got this sum of money, I would devide it into several parts: the first one I would give to my loving parents and grandparents because they are the most important people in my life: they brought me up, put their heart and soul into me, they have been supporting me materially and create all the necessary conditions in order I'm not in want of something. Then, the second part I would transfer to the children's home. Moreover, I would create the centre for running wild animals, invite specialists: zoologists,vets and cynologists to work there and help those poor animals. The third one would go to my own flat that I want to have. And after it I would buy a car.
So, these are my thoughts concerning this wonderful opportunity! :)

"What Is self-improvement and what is self-destruction for you?"
Self-improvement and self-destruction... What does it mean for me? This world. So changeable, so uncontemplated… Who am I in this world? What should I do? What is my place in this environment? Every person has its own answer. Everybody has his or her own path. Some of us try to test this world and with this testing we always have the experience of the improvement, sometimes even destroying of ourselves. And it is a pity that sometimes we can’t see the borders where is one finishes and another comes. People are like antagonists, they always want to be the best ones. They are fighting with each other not in the proper mean, but in some hidden ways: we tell we are not addicted to music, but we always attempt to buy better subwoofers, better columns, make better stereo system in our car. So we don’t lie- we are truely not addicted to music, but we have much worse addiction – we are addicted to our success. And if only once upon a time somebody hurts us twice or even three times, we can become weaker…and here…and with this “help” begins self-destruction, as I think, with this awful disappointments and bites of them – people who are important for you. Sometimes destruction happens, but for us, for example, we lose trust in God, we lose trust in ourselves, we're getting lost in ourselves and trying to find our own way of living. Being forced by negative feelings we acting in the way we shouldn't to and then, later we feel unpleasant effects on ourselves because of our wrongdoings and unwillingness to understand the simple truth of life,it's a pity...We're hating ourselves for these misdeeds, we're swearing ourselves that we won't do them, but we do it again in view of our sinful nature...
And what concerning of self-improvement,I think that the belief in God and yourself, strong motivation to reach much in this world and desire to prove yourself that you cost something help us move further, learn new things, discover what you could have never imagined about. You know, even in ancient times people believed in something. Ra was telling them to love sun, and Apollo was telling them to be brave, and they believed in them, at least, they were honest for themselves. Maybe, their trust helped them to be saved.
Nowadays, we are all free,we live as we can. Sometimes we destroy and sometimes we improve…. But forever and ever we stay people, who can change themselves inside, to look for inside the best thing in this world. We find golden thoughts not on the pages of the book, but on the pages of our soul…

"Identity"
So,if we take the word "identity" we can find many its types. There exist personal, gender,age,national,religious,sexual,professional and many others.
I would like to stop on personal identity. There was given a birth to a child. Every day it looks at the reality and discovers something new in it. While growing it relizes his/her belonging to a certain group of people called "family", that he/she has own appearance that has some identycal features with the relatives.Then, a bit later, he/she reveals innate and recquires the other abilitiies. He/She is an individual has his/her own point of view, is ready to create, outstand from the mass of people and take place in a social cell.

"What's happiness for you and what do you need to be happy?"
Happiness? It's a bit difficult for me to give a definition 'cause so many things are included in this word, but the first thing that came to my mind is the love to people that are around you, the love to the world itself,how it is.
I can say that I'm a happy person. God gave everything that is need to me: the loving family,the place to live, food to eat and the friends whom I appreciate, it would be a sin to complain about something. But there is the dream that I with hope and kindness cherish: I wanna be with a man who would love and care of me, with who I felt like behind the stone wall and with who I could create united family in the future.
I belive in this bright moment in my life and when it comes I will be COMPLETELY HAPPY! =)

"What makes a great teacher?"
To my point, it's not enough to be a teacher, you should be a GREAT one. What things make this image up? I'll try to define those I consider to be the most important.
First of all, a good teacher should be skilled, competent and experienced in the sphere of teaching and the subject he/she teaches. The teacher should know all the phsychological peculiarities with which he/she may face while working with children. Secondly, the teacher should be just,respectful and kind towards the students, he/she should love them EQUALLY, not showing the fact of having a favourite one. Overmore, a good teacher should have an ability to control and lead people doing it in a soft way in order not set them against humself/herself. One can't but notice that creativity and enthusiasm are also the main helpers of the teacher. Everytime he/she should breath new ideas into the daily chores inspiring students on productive work.
So, approaching to the educational process in this way, the pedagogue will always be , respected,appreciated and popular among students.

What does the word "fame" mean to you? Is it sacrifising yourself for the sake of the public or a good way to make money on your popularity?
Speaking about the word "fame", I can say precisely that it means nothing to me. Of coarse, it's very good when you're well-known among the majority of people, but I'm not a vain person, the other values are far more important to me.
What concerns of the second question, I think that fame makes you sacrifise yourself, your life for the sake of the public: first of all, paparazzi is following you wherever you are and worming themselves into your confidence,depriving you of the right on the private life.Besides,you have to spend a lot of time learning the role, getting used to it if you're an actor/actress.Overmore, you may be under the risk: for example, if you're working as a correspondent and you have to go to different places, rather dangerous at times, in search of information. But there are the advantages of being famous: the first - you earn much money, it goes without saying and the second,main - you should always improve yourself: be in a good shape, learn a lot of interesting things about life and our world, so it's a good stimulus.
Nevertheless, many celebrities are making money on their fame creating the parfume,clothes or food line.Well, it's not bad, they're carrying on the business, it's their right.
Also, there exist cases of ill fame: some people think that everybody forgot them and it's high time to remind them about yourself and try to draw the public's attention by acting in a stupid way. To my mind, they won't reach anything good acting like that, 'cause there should be kind, not ill, fame.

"The first money I earned in my life"
Well, as far as I remember, the first and real money I earned when I was seventeen. I went to the private school where I was given a group of liitle children at the age of 5-6 to teach them English. To tell the truth, from the very beginning I was experiencing negative emotions the children, I thought: "Oh, my God! What disobedient these children are, they're dare-devils! How can anybody cope with them? It's a REAL jitters!" But then, a bit later, I found a key to a child's soul and everything was working like magic, I made friends with those little angels, they were quick in the uptake, I was enjoyng every minute spent with them, so I was the happiest teacher in the world and just at that moment I understood the essence of the profession of the teacher.

"What is attractiveness for you? have you ever been appealed by somebody to such an extent that you couldn't imagine your life without this person?"
To my point, attractiveness is a charm. This word includes such characteristics as a person's charisma, the way he/ she can give himself/herself to people, behaves with them.
What about the second question, four years ago I was appealed by one girl and I'm appealed by her now. Also, recently I have known closer one girl with who I became to get on very well. These are my two best friends I love, appreciate and can't live without. They have something special in their individuality, they are not the same as the other girls. They are the sort of people who stay themselves in any situation, answer for themselves, their actions, who I can trust, from who I can meet sincerity,kindeness and understanding, they radiate some kind of warmth. I know that they will always be with me, support me whatever happens and it's great that I have such friends being with I feel joy and happiness, I'm greatful to God for it.

"If you could invent something in our todays world, what would you like to invent and why?"
Well, if I had this wonderful opportunity, I would invent a time machine that would help us to go through different epoches with the speed of light.
Why I wanna do this? First of all, I want to get back all my relatives that are dead. Besides, I would like to get back some outstanding people who unfairly died, who could have lived and create many new extraordinary things. It would be great if this machine by pushing a special button could eliminate all the consiquences of our mistakes, may be there wouldn't be hostility between people and there would peace and tranquillity reign in our world. :)

"What does the word "plastic surgery" mean for you? Is it an evitable part of our glamorized life or a resolute way to prolong beauty and enjoy yourself?
Plastic surgery is the most radical way to prolong one's beauty, but it can be a dangerous one: you can never predict the consequenses after operation, so you're running the risk of being the victim of the surgeon's scalpel.
However that may be, a lot of people make this step in their life. The reasons for doing it can be different. Some celebrities do it because they have to: they are always in the center of attention and their career depends on their appearance. Plastic surgery is the disease not only of famous people but ordinary: for example, a wife is madly in love with her husband, she wants to make him happy and she is ready to do anything to hold him, or husband raises an ultimatum like "If you don't change this or that I'll give you up". They aren't true relationships that based on love, this event is called attachment.
But there can be cases of inborn defects or the result of the accident that, of coarse, should be corrected.
I can't say that I totally disagree with the idea of changing one's appearance by means of palstic surgery, it's up to a person whether to call for such a drasic way or not. Personally I, appreciate natural beauty and would never dare to make this risky step in my life.

"Change"
What comes first to my mind when I hear this word?
Change is something that makes your life to go in another way. Changes can be different as well as reasons that caused them.
Speaking about my personal experience, this summer wasn't useless for me: I am not the same as I was before. I become to think and feel in the way I didn't do. On the whole, this summer made me realize the essence of life. Now, I am ready for radical changes,for serious steps and I'm not afraid of the obstacles I can face with, 'cause I'm new and I'm happy with it! =)

"What is luck, in your opinion, a pure accident or it depends only on you?"
Personally for me, luck is a result of your hardworking, it depends on you. But many people consider luck to be a pure accident and when you're working hard and achieve something - it's not a luck, this opinion has its own right to exist. Anyway, I stick to the point "Hope for the God's help, but rely on yourself and don't wait all the welthies will fall on your head".
You should deserve it by your actions and attitude to people because everything is written down in the special book.

"If you were to stay at a certain age fo the rest of your life, which age it will be and why?"
So, if I had this opportunity, I would stay at the age of twenty-five inspite of the fact that I'm twenty now. I think that it's a brilliant age: I'm young and married, I have two wonderful loving children (that would be girl and boy), a great husband who loves and appreciates me. On the whole, I have a nice family to which I devote all my free from work time. Oh, how I want this idilly will last forever... =)
So, if I had this opportunity, I would stay at the age of twenty-five inspite of the fact that I'm twenty now. I think that it's a brilliant age: I'm young and married, I have two wonderful loving children (that would be girl and boy), a great husband who loves and appreciates me. On the whole, I have a nice family to which I devote all my free from work time. Oh, how I want this idilly will last forever... =)

A letter to a friend
Dear Kate,
Thank you very much for the letter you sent me, I was very happy to receive it.
My family and me are well, thanks a lot. Our forth academic year began on the first of September. Everything is standing on its place, but the atmosphere is different from the one was last year. May be, it so because we grow older and become to look on things in another way.
This year we have a new discipline which is called “American History and Literature” that broads our overview on this country and on the English language itself. Overmore, there appeared some disciplines connected with the teaching that will help us during our practice. We have a great working load, but, anyway, I like it - studying become more and more interesting to me. Many students come to study on our faculty and that is wonderful because I made lots of friends among them and have a good chance to communicate with these great guys. So, as you see there are advantages of being a forth-year student.
By the way, give my warmest regards to your parents, how they are?
I’m looking forward very much to hearing from you soon.

"How do you see the future of Humanity?"
When I listened the passage from the text, many thoughts appeared in my head. I don't want to think pessimistically saying that robots will throng our world and there will be no place for human, they will be our helpmates.
Just imagine: all the work will be done by the creation of genius technologists - a house robot, starting with cooking meal ending with shopping. People will be free to do what they want and after coming from work they shouldn’t bother about the things they have to do about the house. That is why a woman won’t need to run around work and house like a madwoman and devote her time both to building up her career and bringing up the children; men also can be bread-winners and won’t be worry that anything is out of repair or broken, after all, the intelligent robot will care about this and default. The life can become a real fairy tale…

"If I could take part in a film it would be..."
I think that every child in his/her life dreamt of being an austranaut, singer, danser or an actor/actress.I'm not the exception: when I was a little girl, I dreamt of becoming an actress.
Yes, of coarse,this profession has some difficulties: it's exhausting: you should give all you've got to reach required effect, spent as much time as it's possible learning the role,getting used to it. Sometimes, you have to refuse to many pleasant things in your life or sacrifice your family for the sake of the career. But, anyway, it has its own amenities. It gives a great chance to a person to realize himself/herself in different life situations, reveal the individuality and show your capacities.The process of shooting a film is a very exciting thing: you get a mass of unreal, with nothing to compare,emotions. You can get acquainted with many interesting people, movie stars that are profficient in the area they're working and who can teach you acting craft that will be useful in your becoming as an actress.
So, if I had a chance of being shot in a film, I would prefer to take part in a comedy or in humorous series. I'm very cheerful person, I like to have fun and entertain people, and I'm not afraid of being laughed at, it's very amusing. Apart from playing role in a comedy, I would like to play a dramatic one. I can easily convey all the emotions, create the atmosphere of a nerve-strain, intrigue the audience and grab its attention.
Well, these are only my sweetest dreams...that may be someday will come true, I cherish hope for it. =)

The stylistical devices are the main means that help to the author create the atmosphere in the text. They are metaphors, epithets, similies and etc. While writng a piece of work writer puts his own feelings to convey the emotional state. If I think about any litetrary pieces where such an atmosphere is created I remember the book written by Phillis Briggs that is called "Son Of Black Beauty". This book is about the horse which is travelling about different places with a gypsy camp. Colored description alternates with the narration. This way of writing makes a reader imagine the situation and be imbued with the thoughts and emotions of the author.

"The need of the the forthcoming flight scared me to death"
The summer is a good time for going somewhere to have a rest and relaxing from everyday routine. Well, as for me, I thought I would do the same this summer ,but...
Once in the morning the telephone rang, there were my aunt who invited me to come to her place, to the South. This offer quickly raised my spirits, a shining smile appeared on my face. Every day I spent carring out the plan of my staying, imagining me lying on the beach under exhausting sun being free from the city buzzing. But my dreams shattered at one moment when I learnt from the cashier of the railway station that there are no tickets for the nearest month. "Dear, it's not a problem", my parents said, "There's a way out - you can buy a plane ticket". I didn't want to get by plane because this mean of travelling scares me more than a big black spider hanging above my head. Anyway, my strong desire of having a rest fought me - I set off to the airport. With a pride and the ticket in my hand I went home. So, long-awaited day came, my parents brought me to the airport and here the fear grabbed me, I rooted on the ground not wishing going further to departure line. My parents managed to push me into the plane. All the way the thought about plane crash was eating my mind, but everything turned out all right: I came to my aunt safe and sound being cheereful and ready to have a good time.

“There was no possibility of taking a walk that day…” © Jane Air
“The sound of alarm is waking me up…Oh my God…I have to open my eyes and get up, but I don’t wanna to, I don’t have any strength… It was silly of me to agree to help my acquaintance to go working instead of her”, I thought. Anyway, somehow I found out myself at work. So, all the stuff gathered,we sat in the car and set off in the country.It was pouring rain when the car stopped at the open-air café. “Ha! What a nice day!”, the barman exclaimed and with this optimistic phrase in our minds we got out of the car. With the accompaniment of the cloudburst we were preparing the terrace for the guests, I was watching the pouring rain it was like crying of nature…I remembered those happy days when we were together, it was like in a dream: every day turned out for me like a fairy-tale. “I’m eager it back…I want you to be right here, with me walking under the rain…”, I was thinking of it and tears running down my cheeks .
